Last time we talked about the Pacific Adventure,

a voyage of English pirates into Panama and the southern ocean.

The immediate ramifications of the Pacific Adventure outside of Peru were relatively minimal.

By 1681, by the end of the Pacific Adventure, the colonial authorities of the West Indies had much bigger problems. the the era of the buccaneers, and two of our largest stories are going to intersect.

The pirates from last time, from the Pacific Adventure,

are going to meet the mostly French and Dutch pirates who would dominate the 1680s.

We're going to be moving extremely fast.
