Good morning and welcome to the Increase Your Impact Podcast. I'm Justin Sua, episode 1,911.

I was recently reminded of a story that I heard many years ago, but I was reminded of how important it is.

Once upon the time, there was a farmer and his wife, and they were looking for someone to help them around their farm. They're getting

up in age and they weren't able to run the physical labor part of their farm as well as they

used to be able to. So they hired someone who can do it. As they were going through the candidates

and the interview process, there was a

gentleman who came up and they asked him, what experience do you have? And the gentleman said,

I have a lot of experience. I have so much experience that I can sleep peacefully during a storm.

Now the farmer had no idea what he was talking about, but he liked him.

He was better than all the other candidates, and so he hired him.

About a week later, there was a violent storm that was going through the area, and it woke the husband and the wife up.

They woke up, they went to the room of their farm, their helper, and he was

sound asleep. This frustrated the farmer and his wife at first. And so they said, you know what,

we're not going to wake him up. We're going to go secure everything. So they run downstairs,

get dressed, and they get out, and they head to the barn. They realized that everything at the barn was secure.

The tools were perfect.

The animals were set up.

The windows, the shutters, the log, the fire.

Everything was perfect.

And it was at that moment that the farmer realized what this young man meant when he said,

I could sleep peacefully during the storm.
