Today I want to talk about improvements.

I want to talk about getting better because many of you who are listening to this are

either trying to improve yourself, you're trying to grow, or you're trying to help others

do that.

And some of you are obviously trying to do both.

These messages that improvement does not occur through aimless practice.

Doesn't happen on accident.

Improvement doesn't happen if you just show up and just assume and hope that it happens.

Improvement occurs when you devote time to chip away at an aspect of your craft, just

outside of your comfort zone.

Now what does that even look like?

It is an aspect just outside your comfort zone.

It's finding the first thing to do is take a look at what your job is, whatever it is

that you do.

It might be an athlete, it might be a leader, a student, and ask yourself, what are the

skills needed in order to be the best you can be at your job?

Let's just say job.

What are the skills?

It might be computer skills, it might be communication, it might be productivity, whatever
