Today, I'm talking about eight ways to enhance your self-talk.

You are the most important person you speak to every day.

So you want to speak powerfully, positively, and truthfully.

And these eight ways can help you improve your self-talk.

Number one, embrace the power of yet.

How you finish a sentence will impact how it affects you.

And place the period at the end of a self-defeating sentence with a comma.

And then add yet, for example, it sounds like this.

Instead of saying, I'm not good at this, you want to say, I'm not good at this yet.

Number two, don't complain.

It's hard to be your best self if you're constantly complaining or making excuses.

It not only brings yourself down, but you bring others down with you.

Number three, if you do complain.

Finish it with, but again, here's the power of replacing a period with a comma.

At first, it sounds like this.

This is so difficult, but when you replace with, but this is so difficult, but if I want

to be successful, this is what's required.

Number four, ask yourself effective questions.

If you want better answers, ask yourself better questions.

Two ineffective questions are questions like, why do I suck and why does this always happen?
