talk about six questions you can ask yourself to help you find out if the people you are

surrounding yourself with are helping or hurting you. Question number one, do the people that I surround

myself with let me off the hook?

You want to surround yourself with people who don't make it easy to break promises to yourself.

Number two, how do they respond when I'm complaining?

It's nice to let off some steam sometimes.

Sometimes it's nice to let people know your frustrations. However, when

complaining is constant, it's helpful to have people around you remind you that complaining without

action is useless. Number three, how do they respond when I'm making excuses? Excuses dampen accountability.

You want to surround yourself with people who will help you own your mistakes and do better

next time.

Number four, how do they respond when I'm talking bad about people?

This is a big one.

Constantly tearing people down is poisonous and talking bad behind people's back is worse you want to

assure that your circle isn't filled with hate jealousy or envy you don't want to be around people

who you constantly get in your little circle and you talk bad about other people if there is a

problem with someone else,

encourage each other to lean into those difficult yet crucial conversations.

And number five, how do they respond to my good news?
