And 12. Today we're talking about a simple message. Find out what the players know. One of the

0:15.2

biggest mistakes that coaches and leaders make is assuming that they know what players are thinking,

0:23.6

what coaching staff is thinking, what anyone else is thinking.

0:27.3

They assume that they know how a player likes to learn,

0:32.0

what a player is worried about, what a player is thinking about,

1:35.6

coach and volunteer that information. Most players are, it's on the tip of their tongue,

1:41.2

but they're waiting for you to ask. And so the burden is actually on the leader. It's on the coach. It's on the tip of their tongue, but they're waiting for you to ask. And so the burden is actually on

1:44.9

the leader. It's on the coach. It's on the team captain. It's on the person who is leading the group.

1:51.8

Some good questions to ask them is, what's on your mind? What are you working on? How do you learn best?

1:58.1

What are you feeling about this drill? who's a coach that you connected best with
