Well to me this feels like empowered women steering their own lives.

They're steering their own boat instead of waiting for the institution to move this very very large ship which

moves very very very slowly I can change things in my life a hundred times faster

than the church can.

Yes.

And that doesn't mean that I get up in church

and I declare certain things don't work for me anymore at the pulpit.

To me, it's a quiet assurance that I do what's best for me in my life.

Hello Susan, how are you today?

I'm great. It's Friday and it's also it also feels like Friday of our podcast before the weekend right?

Because this is our season finale so we're titling this episode rap party maybe because we're in the mood for a party, but also

because we really feel like we have been on a journey this season.

We have put together a lot of content. We have a lot to think about and talk about and I don't know. I'm ready for a rest to sort of process all of it. How about you?

I'm definitely ready.

And I think it's perfect that the end of this season

is coming at the end of summer.

It just kind of seems to be a good way of wrapping it all up.
