0:00.0 | What is going on, guys. Welcome to the Mind vs. Muscle podcast today. It is a solo run and it's me, your boy, Cody Boom Boom, |
0:23.3 | boom here and I am by myself. No Theo Bowie, no Michael France. It is just me and I'm going to run |
0:28.9 | through a basic podcast. I want to kind of keep it short and just bring as much info as possible |
0:33.6 | because what I've noticed a lot in the forum is we get a lot of nutrition questions, right? |
0:40.0 | But a lot of times the nutrition questions are all surrounded around the same concept, |
0:44.9 | theory or goal essentially of trying to get leaner, trying to remove body fat, trying to see more |
0:50.3 | muscle or build more muscle, and actually trying to stay that way. |
0:53.0 | So I want to talk about the sustainable way of getting ripped. |
0:57.0 | And what I mean by this is finding a way to actually get really lean and then staying that way. |

1:10.9 | but then you can't sustain it because you feel like dog shit to be frank so |
1:15.7 | what we're gonna talk about today is simple I want to teach you guys a little bit |
1:18.6 | more about um we're actually going to a little bit of nutrition and a little bit of |
1:21.8 | training but there is definitely more nutrition to be discussed because I think |
1:26.8 | at the end of the day that is the |
1:28.2 | biggest key to getting lean. Most people, you can get away with training in not the smartest |
1:36.0 | way. Obviously, optimal programming is going to lead to much better results. You're going to build |
1:40.5 | way more muscle, build way more strength, and you're going to burn more calories if that's your |
1:43.8 | goal to burn fat. But at the end of the strength, and you're going to burn more calories, if that's your goal to burn fat. |
1:45.0 | But at the end of the day, like the biggest key to actually getting ripped, getting shredded, getting jacked, or just looking really lean is always going to come down to your diet. |
1:53.0 | So we're going to cover diet first, and then I'm going to dig in some training stuff. |
