Summary

What are your first 30 days without alcohol like? What parts are hard and when do you start feeling good? Here's my diary of my first 30 days sober, which turned into 6 years alcohol-free. Tomorrow, February 18, I am hitting 6 years alcohol-free! I can’t believe I haven’t had a sip of alcohol but it's also just another day because not drinking isn't hard anymore. It's the way I live my life. It's my new normal. And it has actually been that way for a long time. The truth is, without alcohol I have met some of the most incredible people and I have had some amazing experiences. It's made me more grounded, more content, less anxious, more brave and more secure in my life. I thought I'd share with you my side of my story through the emails I wrote Belle because I want you to hear the shaky early days of what turned into six years alcohol-free. And at the time, I didn't think I could make it 100 days without drinking.
