As always, my name is Patrick, and I'm your host.

And on today's episode, I have a very special guest.

This is a conversation that I've been looking forward to for quite some time. It's with my new

friend, Shell Money, who is the owner and founder of money bikes that makes some of the sexiest

looking bikes on the internet and in the known galaxy. In fact, I heard a rumor that the phrase bike porn was invented just to

capture the essence of money bikes. Shell and I have chatted a little bit back and forth about doing

an episode, but I definitely wanted to have an opportunity to get to meet him and interview him

face to face.

And whenever Matt Mason invited me out to the first ever New Mexico bikepacking summit and the danger bird that just a couple weekends ago,

he set it up so that Shell and I could have a chance to finally have a chat.

So we met up there on Friday afternoon after the bike packing summit.

So in the morning we had a meet the makers,

which was essentially an opportunity to hang out with some of the artists and bag makers and bike makers, etc.

there that are doing great work in New Mexico and also just get an opportunity to hang out

and chat with a bunch of really cool, awesome folks.

After that, we broke for lunch and met up in a park where we had a panel discussion

and learned a lot about what

the community and the government is doing in New Mexico to make the cycling community and

the bike packing community even richer than it already is. And then after all that, Shell and I

posted up on a park bench and had a absolutely fantastic conversation.

Honestly, I really, really, really enjoyed getting to meet Shell.
