as people look ahead to 2018 and who the bear's next head coach will be, assuming it is not John

Fox,

there seems to be a reflex almost, or just an assumption that it's going to be an

offensive-minded head coach, that it has to be a former offensive coordinator,

a former offensive player, someone who can sort of bring along Mitchell Trabisky as an offensive mind.

But we were talking about this today here at House Hall.

And I don't think that has to be the case, does it?

No.

And in fact, I find it really kind of odd.

I think last year you're looking at the playoffs.
