The Bears lose 20 to 10 to the Detroit Lions up in the Motor City.

And now this marks the fourth straight year that the Bears have lost 10 games or more.

Gentlemen, when we were talking in the pregame show, we were talking about the run game

and how great the run game was with Jordan Howard last week and that we'd like to see more of it.

Why did they get away from the run game?

And I know that sometimes John Fox and football coaches will say, well, game situation kind of dictated that we need to throw the ball.

It never felt like there was a point until maybe halfway through the fourth quarter where you felt like the Bears had to throw the ball.

And they came out in an empty set to start the game.

Yeah, they threw on their,

out of their first five plays, they threw on four of them. They only ran the ball once with Jordan Howard. So, I mean, it's surprising. I know that first empty play worked, but

why even, you know, why even attempt that? There's nothing to hide. Everybody knows what the

bears are successful at doing.

You got to line up, go toe to toe, say, hey, you've got the 27th ranked rushing defense.

Stop what we're going to do. And it's like the Bears didn't even challenge that from the get-go of

the game and then false starts, penalties, pre-snap penalties, factor it all in. It was all on

display today. It was a poor football game all the it all in. It was all on display today.

It was a poor football game all the way around offensive.

I think that's the key right there, Jim. It's your opponent. They're not good at something.

That's something they're not good at. You're actually, this is what you, this is what your team is built around. Whether

you believe it or not, this is what your team is built around. And you go into this game
