| 0:00.0 | Hello and welcome to this episode of the ESG Fitness podcast. My coaching has always been about |
| 0:08.6 | more than just fat loss. And my goal is that people leave working with me healthier and happier, |
| 0:16.7 | first and foremost. And yes, that usually means for most people leaner as well. But there is something |
| 0:24.3 | that I want to add to that, which I think is a little, or it might seem a little like tangential or |
| 0:31.9 | like off-piece, but in my opinion, fits perfectly well. And that is wealthier. So I want people to leave me happier, |
| 0:39.7 | healthier, and wealthier. And if you are a long-time listener to the podcast or you follow my |
| 0:45.7 | business mentoring business, AFM, then you may have noticed that I've become more and more interested |
| 0:51.9 | in and passionate about money and finances, |

| 1:25.0 | there's almost like this gatekeeping because we're told that it's confusing and it's risky and it's complicated and we would need a financial advisor to help us or you need a lot of money. |
| 1:37.6 | And like for a lot of people, especially if you're starting out, like the option of a financial advisor isn't an option anyway because it shuts off people who don't already have some kind of money or some kind of wealth. |
| 1:48.9 | So you're stuck in this trap of not having enough money to pay for finance advice, |
| 1:53.2 | but actually that's usually when people need financial advice most, right, to get them out of that |
| 1:58.4 | situation. |
| 2:00.0 | And I read this quote in a book, which is an excellent |
| 2:03.6 | book, highly recommend if anyone wants kind of like the basic foundations of investing. And it's called |
| 2:08.6 | a simple path to wealth. And the quote is, avoid investment advisors, too many have their own |
| 2:16.2 | interests at heart. And by the time you know |
