Hello and welcome to who this episode of the ESG Fitness Podcast. Today I want to talk about

many a conversation I've had with people over the years, especially this week with talking to

people about thinking if they want to sign up to commit to six or not. And one of the biggest

reasons that people struggle with that decision is partly trusting themselves

and partly because a lot of people feel like nothing works for them and they're worried about

wasting money on another diet and I completely get that. And I also get that it's not just money

that people are wasting. It's something kind of, well,

okay, it's not just the money that people are wasting. I won't say they're wasting this.

But there's a far bigger impact on trying things and it not working again and again. And that is

that it kind of wears away at your self-confidence and your self-belief. And if you are constantly feeling like

you're trying something and failing, it chips away at you, your belief in yourself, your confidence,

and you start to tell yourself this story that you can't do it. And then you keep finding evidence

for that each failed attempt. And the reality for most women is that

you've been sold the wrong solution again and again and again packaged up in different ways.

And it probably feels like you've quote and quote tried everything and that you must be the

problem. But if you zoom out for a second and you look at the attempts that you've made,

and this is what I do with every woman that I speak to who comes to me like feeling like this,

which is a very genuine feeling. I'm not trying to dismiss that in any way. But when you actually

look at what people have been trying, it's not surprising at all that it hasn't worked out,

right? Most fat loss programs are built to sell

you fast results because that's what you want, right? That's what the marketing has pushed towards.

They rely on over-restriction and extremes. They give you rules to stick to, but they don't necessarily
