Have  you ever weighed yourself in the morning and then adjusted your plan for the day based off of what number you saw?

I know a lot of people do this and with this quick tip episode I'm going to explain why this is not a good idea and what you need to do to fix it!

trouble with is that we all like to have some feedback. We like to see some results.

Results are important, but we start to obsess with the scale a little bit too much. I see it happen a lot. I know some people, no problem, like

Fat Dag, Mike Dag that I interviewed earlier in the week, he getting weigh weigh himself every single day, and it

works for him. That works, and he doesn't get in his own head about it, but a lot of

people do. And when we get into trouble is when we weigh ourselves in the morning and then let that number dictate what happens with our fitness or attrition the rest of that day.

So we have a good way in and then, oh, I can cut loose a little bit.

I can have a few extra beers or I can have some cookies because I'm ahead of schedule.

Or I have a bad way in and oh man I can't eat today or I need to work out four times today or you know

It may even go the other way I had a bad way and I'm just going to give up, who cares?

So that daily grind that we put ourselves through of just basing all of our hopes and dreams and action steps for the day off of that number on the scale,
