So in the ex-mormon world, they have a quote out saying it's particularly heartbreaking when former church members leave and speak out against the church.

They are Judas. Sometimes it's better just not to engage with the Judas.

When you say the ex-mormon world as if there is an ex-mormon.

Right. I know. I'm going to sit in that.

But wouldn't you think that one of the values that all ex-mormons would share in common would be a desire for the truth instead of falling for other people's lies?

Yeah. Because there's no way of accurately.

Like I can share a little bit, a little piece of what that experience was for me.

But it's not going to be any where nearer as profound and meaningful to someone else as it was to me in that moment.

It doesn't even scratch the surface of that.

And you can't express those kinds of things in the words. And we get so hypnotized by words and communication and whether we're saying the right words or we're saying it in the right way or doing it.

And it's all these imperfect symbols that are representing sloppy understandings of a fraction of reality that most of it we just have no clue.

Because the world is round. It turns me on.
