Talking today about mandated family leave programs in light of the Donald Trump proposal

Apparently his proposal was influenced, at least in part, by his daughter Ivanka, who is not, I think, particularly astute when it comes to public policy analysis.

Now, that's a whole separate question, the issue of child care. I actually read an interesting article by Jeff Tucker in the past day or so. Somebody sent me about why child care is so expensive. And the answer is so obvious. It's shocking how obvious it is. A lot of times there are many factors at work and it's hard to disentangle them all.
