Hello and welcome to this episode of, oh, just dropped something, the ESG Fitness Podcast.

0:06.9

I had a very excellent question on my question box yesterday and then I had a discussion

0:13.1

with the coach and then I saw another post and you know when you see like a yellow car or something.

0:18.4

Anyway, that's kind of how I feel about the topic of this episode.

0:22.1

And I think it's one that I hope will really help people and resonate with people.

0:26.6

So the question was, how to kill that in a voice that says, what's the point to start if you're going to give up anyway?

0:34.4

Right. So when you're kind of talking yourself into failure, when you've maybe tried something

1:21.4

That 2% between 98% and 100% is the voice inside your head, right?

1:26.9

Is like, you could give up. Oh, you could miss that gym session, oh, you could just do this instead, or there's all, you know, maybe, maybe try again next time.

1:35.3

That constant inner dialogue and debate that you're having with yourself, that's what actually makes change hard.

1:41.3

That's what makes it fatiguing when you're always trying to convince

1:45.1

yourself to do something. The will I or won't I debate that you're constantly having,

1:49.7

it's so, so fatiguing. Now I don't mean, when I say commit to this 100%, I don't mean

1:57.2

never miss a workout or always hit your calories, right?
