We are the Corps. The Corps. In December 2011, I was working for a web development shop in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The buzz around town was that Utah's own David Archiletta was sacrificing his music fame and reportedly lavish lifestyle for two years so he could preach the restored gospel of Jesus Christ

I'm a single father so I don't get out too often and For a former Mormon in Utah, this left me with very few things to do to stay entertained.

Couldn't go out and drink with my friends because I was home with my kid.

I couldn't go to church activities because I'm not Mormon.

And so I spent a lot of time at home.

And with my web development experience, I did a little research to see if enough people

around the globe were interested in David Archiletta's missionary journey.

After a day or so of toying with the idea I bought the domain name David Archiletta Mission.com.

The plan was to create a missionary blog, lampooning David Archiletta and all Mormon missionaries

everywhere.

I thought that I was uniquely qualified being a former Mormon and be a return missionary.

So I was excited about it. Friends of mine, they warned me against doing this.
