Summary
Look, I'll be honest with you… I started this competition prep for one reason, and it's probably not what you think.
Yeah, I'm going to look shredded, and yes, I'm revealing my full protocol today — including the macros, meals, peptides, PEDs, training, everything….
But the real reason?
I felt like I was getting soft…. And doing too much shit that was seeking comfort…
Drinking, staying up too late, doom scrolling…
In the book 'The Comfort Crisis' … Michael Ester says…
"We're living sheltered, sterile, temperature-controlled, underchallenged lives." — Michael Easter, The Comfort Crisis
That hit me.
When everything is easy, you lose the adaptations that make you strong.
If you're lacking motivation, I honestly think you should diet—or even prep for a show. Here's why:
Everyone wants more motivation. But motivation isn't something you wait around for—it's literally a feedback loop you can hack.
I'll share my entire protocol with you in today's episode so if you are at all interested in taking your performance to the next level, make sure you have pen and paper during this episode.

| 0:00.0 | If you're a health or fitness coach, look, I really think one of the best things you can do for |
| 0:03.9 | yourself and your business is periodically doing something hard, like a diet phase or even a |
| 0:09.0 | competition prep. And if you're not, you're leaving money and moments upon the table. |
| 0:13.1 | Right. Number one, not only do you get marketing appeal, you're your walking billboard. |
| 0:16.5 | Okay, a better physique makes your content more visually magnetic. |
| 0:55.5 | Look, I'll be honest with you. I started this competition prep for one reason and it's definitely not what you think. And look, in this episode, I'm going to show you my full protocol today, macros, meals, peptides, performance enhancing drugs, training, everything. But the real reason that I did this is I felt like I was getting soft. Okay, but first, I want to show you where I started in this four week prep versus where I'm at now. Here you'll see on the left. That's where I kind of started at. On the right is where I'm at now. Here's a little back shot. These back shots are three weeks apart. Then here's a little front most muscular that are three weeks apart. And although like I wasn't in terrible shape, I'd always prioritize fitness, but I was getting soft in other areas. I was drinking too much, staying up too |
| 0:59.7 | late, doom scrolling, just like fucking around and seeking too much comfort and pleasure. |
| 1:04.8 | And it hit me when I was reading this book from, it's called The Comfort Crisis by guy named |
| 1:07.9 | Michael Esther. And he says, we're living in a sheltered, |
| 1:16.0 | sterile, temperature controlled, under challenged lives. And it hit me because when everything's easy, you lose the adaptations that make you strong. And so if you've been struggling with |
| 1:20.5 | motivation, what I think is that motivation is that motivation is not something that you wait around for. |
| 1:24.6 | It really is something that you can create. See, motivation is simply a |
| 1:28.2 | dopamine feedback loop. Okay, it's an actual mechanical process in the brain that essentially |
| 1:33.1 | shows when you accomplish things, small controllable variables throughout the day and you check |
| 1:37.6 | things off, your brain gives you more dopamine and that dopamine gives you the motivation. So we have to |
| 1:43.0 | have these small things that we can check off and do. And in my opinion, fitness is one of the best conduits for that to start to rewire our brain to be more motivated to be able to accomplish other things. In fact, my first bodybuilding prep, I think was one of the biggest reasons that soon after that, I went from being broke, just coming off a drug addiction to building a $40 million business in just five, six years and now having an $11 million net worth. All right. So anyways, the thing that people miss is that when you commit something hard, you know, like tracking food, every single bite of food, sticking to chloric deficits, showing up to train when you don't feel like it, all of these things, it becomes easier. And then it gets fun. And then your brain flips on that reward circuit and it's |
| 2:18.0 | like your nervous system saying like dude we're fucking crushing it let's win more okay so suddenly |
| 2:22.8 | you're not chasing motivation you become the person who is just motivated and that'll show up |
| 2:26.3 | everywhere so now i want to get into the meat and potatoes of this all right so we're going to talk |
| 2:30.1 | about exactly what i'm doing with this prep But the key point here is that you need to |
| 2:34.7 | understand. If you're asking yourself the question, what do I need to do to be successful? If you're watching this page, it might be because you want to grow your fitness business, your health coaching business. Instead, I want you to start asking who do I need to come to become to be successful? And listen, let me give you a quick embarrassing aside here. Okay, so originally I thought that I signed up for a four-week prep and I had to talk my wife into this because she hates when I |
| 2:53.8 | prep. Okay, so originally I thought that I signed up for a four-week prep, and I had to talk my wife into this because she hates when I prep, okay? I turn into a robotic zombie. I'm no fun. And the show was supposed to be on October 8th, which is literally next week, but I'm an idiot. Okay, so I signed up for a show that requires a national qualification, and I haven't competed since 2019, so I wasn wasn't qualified and now we've got a bunch of |
