Hello and welcome to this episode of the ESG Fitness Podcast. You are in for a treat today. This

0:07.6

I think is going to be quite fundamental. I feel like not saying this. Anyway, I think it's going to be

0:13.8

quite a fundamental episode. I was inspired to talk about this today because I was doing

0:20.4

some prep for a lecture that

0:24.2

I'm doing for E.I.K. Nutrition on dietary adherence. And it's been really interesting to see what

0:32.1

the research says about adherence, which actually isn't always what you think it might. Now, I like to reflect on

0:41.0

these things to see how I can apply research into practice when you should, when you shouldn't.

over the past 14 years and not just working with them, but listening to them. And I'm really

1:36.5

lucky to work with absolutely incredible women who take the time or give me the time to really

1:43.7

give me useful feedback, some of which I will

1:46.7

actually be sharing here, but knowing what the clicking point is for people or was for people

1:54.2

or what triggered them to actually make change that lasted or what they found different about

1:59.1

this approach, what the fundamental principles were

2:04.0

which helped them not just lose fat but also keep it off. That is so useful. And research alone

2:11.6

isn't a very good coaching backup. What's the right way to say that? Basically just using research and your

2:19.2

coaching probably isn't going to get you great results, right? It's how to apply that and how to
