In this episode, I am joined by my co-host Stephanie Langford. Hello, Stephanie.

Hey, Tish. Hey, okay, so Stephanie, tell us who you are and what you do. I'm an entrepreneur and a writer and a mom of five really

cool kids and I usually live in Ottawa, Canada, and I'm online at entrefamily.com. And I'm a writer and mom living in central Texas,

and I'm at the art of simple.net. And yes, this is a travel episode. So we're going to catch up

with you, Stephanie, who Stephanie's in the early stages of a big trip with her family in Central

America. Which is why I'm not really living in Ottawa, but we'll get to that. We're also going to focus a little

more on some of the harder parts of travel, you know, the parts that really make us grow.

Yes. Okay. So, Stephanie, I'm so happy that you're willing and able to share while you're in the

midst of a trip because I want to catch up with you

and I also want to talk a little bit about kind of the stuff that we sometimes forget happens

in travel which is a lot of the internal things that are just real challenges and can be

emotional upheaval so before we get into that though tell us just give us the basics like

where are you how long have you been here like where are you, how long have you

been here, and where are you going next? Okay, so right now we are in Guatemala and we've been here

for about three and a half weeks. So we spent the first week of that doing a bit of traveling

around to a couple different places and then the past two and a half weeks. We've been living in

a small town called Panahachal,

and it's on a lake called Lago de Atitlan, which is up in the Guatemalan highlands,

but it's only a few hours away from Guatemala City.
