Beth Silvers are the smart, kind women who host Pantsuit Politics, one of my favorite podcasts I listen to regularly.

In fact, it's the only one of two political shows I really listen to at all.

And here's why I like it so much.

Sarah is a progressive and Beth is a conservative.

And they discuss current issues and policies with a lot of nuance and grace. There's no

name calling, no judgment. They just talk through issues the same way you'd most likely talk to

someone you're sharing a table with over drinks. In this age of insanely hurtful rhetoric on the

internet, especially when it comes to politics, pantsuit politics is a breath of

fresh air. So, the three of us thought it would be fun to chat about what it means to foster a more

global worldview, blinders off, and perspectives broadened, and also how to help our kids do that at

home. These women are so smart, and I love what they've shared in this chat. So go on your run, sit in traffic,

hold your laundry or do whatever it is you do when you listen to The Simple Show and enjoy this

I've been doing this podcast, a simple show, sort of for five years. And I say sort of because I had

another show before that. And that was a whole different iteration. And so I revamped it whenever we

came back from our year of travels.

And now I do this weekly show and we talk about books travel, life at home, because those are my three favorite things.

But, man, those are broad topics.
