This week we have a really awesome show for you. We are speaking to

Professor Zephardt teach out. She teaches at the Fordham University Law School

and she is one of the country's most aggressive and plain spoken antitrust

advocates. She is famous not only for antitrust work but also running for

office in New York State multiple times. She's really interesting but I think

the part of her and this conversation that's so important is she is able to

articulate a very important strand of thought within the progressive movement.

She very clearly is a person who is not happy of how the Obama administration

turned out from domestic economic policy perspective and if Biden wins the

presidency as the polls seemed to indicate he will obviously were issuing that

sort of warning her voice and the aggressive stance she will take towards any

form of center or after even neoliberal thought is very very clear. There's

even this line where she mentions that if they let Google people into the

administration they are going to be problem. So this is a huge voice. Yeah no this

is a large voice where we wanted to give you the realities of what that fight

kind of looks like going into a potential Biden administration. I think Professor

T. Chao articulates the history of antitrust and power in a very interesting and

American context. One of the things that she said which I really loved was about

how one of the ways in which we can make power distribution more efficient

quote unquote is just monarchy is that actually politics representative democracy is

very difficult and hatching out things in terms of our political system. That's
