We have a really amazing guest for you guys today.

His name is Joe Weisenthau.

He's a senior editor and host of a TV show over at Bloomberg News.

Joe is probably the single most insightful person I know.

Whenever it comes to finance, economics, this guy can tell you everything from technical

like little charts about inflation rates and all that other stuff and then distill it

down for somebody like need to understand and more importantly for somebody like you

guys to understand.

I really can't wait to share this conversation with all of you, especially in the middle

of these horrific stimulus negotiations that are happening right now on Capitol Hill.

I can't tell you what's going to happen.

You know, whenever this comes out, it comes out a day after that we're talking about it here

Marshall.

But whereas there are things to stand right now, Nancy Pelosi has no interest in doing a

deal.

And a lot of people are going to basically go hungry, starve and not have any money until

January 2021 at the very earliest, which I think is probably the greatest policy failure

in a long time.

That's the key takeaway from the episode is that this is not necessary.

The consistent thing that Joe hits is these are policy choices that we are making.

It's a policy choice to not pass a stimulus.
