Happy New Year. The Democrats have now taken over the House of Representatives and you

know what that means, that's right. It's time to play the 2019 drinking game. Sounds

fun, doesn't it? Or at least it sounds better than trying to get through the year sober.

So how does it work? To begin with, for the rest of the year, every time I left this

to a journalist, but I repeat myself, compares Donald Trump to Hitler, take a drink. For

instance, here's a real-life article from Newsweek magazine, headline, How Trump and the Nazis

stole Christmas to promote white nationalism. So help me. I'm not making this up. The

article compares Trump to Hitler because by saying Merry Christmas, quote, Trump is promoting

a version of the holidays that excludes members of other religions. And his crusade to bring

back Christmas is part of the larger attempt by the President to define America as a country

for white Christians alone. Unquote. I know last year you might have said why comparing

Merry Christmas to murderous Hitlerian rhetoric is less an act of journalism than the raving

of a lunatic like that guy in Dracula who eats flies while waiting for his vampire master

to speak. But in 2019 instead, just take a drink. Next take a drink every time some chuckle

head says a Trump policy means that people will die. So in previous years, when Democrats

claim that net neutrality leaving the Paris Accord, scuttling Obamacare, ditching the Iran
