0:27.6	So why don't you sort of take us back to the beginning in your journey with alcohol?
0:31.4	Where did it all start?
0:33.2	Oh, well, sure.
0:35.3	It probably begins with the fact that my family's business was in the alcohol industry.
0:41.4	So it was very normalized in my home to drink and drink often and what the heck's wrong
0:47.9	with you if you're not drinking.
0:49.7	So there was alcoholic behavior in my home that I grew up with.
0:53.2	It was also that I'm an adoptee and my brother was an adopted person from a different family.
1:00.4	So there was always that whole identity crisis going on of being sort of a square peg
1:06.4	and a round hole and then you pour alcohol on top of a volatile situation.
1:14.1	It just created a lot of it was a tumultuous childhood, let me say.
1:20.4	And so as I grew up and I had more of a relationship with alcohol as I grew older because it started
1:27.6	to show me that I don't know.
1:30.2	I was more popular.
