0:25.5	So why don't you sort of take us back to the beginning in your relationship with alcohol?
0:31.0	Where did it all start for you?
0:33.4	I would say my relationship with alcohol started in graduate school.
0:36.5	I was sort of a late bloomer.
0:40.0	I started in my late 20s.
0:42.8	Prior to that, I was teaching at a Christian college.
0:47.2	I had gone to a Christian college.
0:49.5	It was part of a vibrant faith community.
0:53.9	But in my 20s, something just wasn't jiving.
0:57.8	I had known for a long time that I felt different.
1:02.8	I was attracted to other guys.
1:04.9	And according to the faith tradition I was a part of, that was not okay.
1:10.7	That was sinful.
1:12.6	And so I was really only left with two options if I were to stay in the church or in this
