So those of you who I've met in person or who's seen me speak in person know that I talk about the fact that I was not always very good with money, when I got out of college I made pretty much

every mistake in the book from racking up a half a year's salary in credit card debt to blowing my first attempt at a 401k because I really just did not

understand what it was. I mean I was one of those people who didn't open my

bills let alone pay my bills.

I am also the poster child for the fact that you can turn it around.

If you want to turn it around, you have to make the decision to do it. You have to take steps in the right direction. It's not all going to go uphill. I still make mistakes with my money. I still am not always a poster child for financial success.

But today on the show, we've got Gabby done on the line.

So I'm excited to hear a little bit more of the backstory on yours. I mean, why did you decide ultimately to get so down and dirty about your relationship

with money? Well on my YouTube channel I'm sort of known as the person who talks

about sex a lot I'm very like sex positive and I talk

about LGBT issues a lot and so I was very comfortable doing that and people would

always say, oh wow how brave it's so brave of you to talk about sex like that.

But that was always very easy for me, but in the meantime I was hiding a lot of money
