Jay Cutler has distinguished himself among greats like Dorian Yates, Arnold Schwarzenegger and of course, his lifelong rival, Ronnie Coleman. Growing up in small town Massechusettes, Jay still pinches himself when he reflects on all he’s accomplished.

I'm in Las Vegas, yeah.

That's where you've been for a number of years?

I've been here for about 20 years.

I'm originally from Massachusetts, and I went to California.

I went west for the bodybuilding career about 99 and somehow I migrated to Las Vegas.

And I've been here ever since.

So it's a city of sin and it's been a great opportunity for me.

So you didn't end up in like Venice Golds or any of the Southern California spots?

No, you know, I was in Southern California for two years in a place

called the Liso Viejo because I didn't want to be in the bodybuilding scene as much. I was actually

moved out to California by a guy named Joe Weeder who was the godfather bodybuilding. He

brought Schwarzenegger, a lot of the guys out to California to pursue bodybuilding.

And he actually wanted me closer to the books at the time, which were Muscle, and Fitness

and Flex were his magazines.

And to be able to shoot year-round, and that was the only outlet that was prior to social,

which a lot of people watching this are listening probably don't even recollect those days

where it was just books. That was the only way you could get notoriety or be featured and,

you know, covers of magazines meant a lot. And that's really how I started my career getting

notoriety through those magazines. Yeah, no, I, before we moved to Texas, so I lived in Newport Beach, so I know Lisa. Okay. And I used to go down and train with some guys down there, and we went to, they were buddies with Milos. We would go out and train at Milos's gym. Yeah, we used to do photo shoots there for Flex. That was kind of the headquarters for Flex magazine shoots.

And, you know, he's actually training in Las Vegas now, Milos.
