Hello and welcome to Something's Off with Andrew Heaton. I'm your host Andrew Heaton and today gang we're going to do something different than what we normally do.

What I've been doing on Fridays is interviewing authors for Thinky Fun Time and talking properly for an adult

about a proper adult conversation for an hour-plus substantive topic.

But I did that yesterday with Dr. Nick Gillespie when we talked about postmodernism.

So today, we're going to just do one big old release valve here at the end of the week.

There's not going to be a specific theme point or substance to it. I have just

invited on my friend and former cab driver and very good stand-up comedian Jimmy

Phela to come on and discuss headlines with me.

So if you've listened to the program previously when I've covered headlines,

we're going to kind of expand this and bring on a comedian to do it with me.

There's no purpose, there's no theme, there's no deeper understanding.

It's just us blowing off steam on a Friday talking

nonsense I do want to let you know because I've I've looked at the headlines in

advance I'm gonna I'm gonna categorize it as PG-13 normally we're

operating at a PG-level this is PG-13 so it's not bad but if you've got

like a 10-year-old maybe maybe listen to it in advance just want to warn you for the

parents that are in the car doing a commute.

Let me know what you think about it, because I do check my email, I do look at tweets,

if it works and you think this is funny, I actually prefer that you would just do funny stuff on Fridays,

then we'll keep doing it.

If it doesn't work, I will be forced to murder my friend Jimmy Phela, and I might even murder

Jimmy Fallon too if I catch dyslexia. But before we do any of that, regardless of how
