As we approach the church, I always want to look at it from that social perspective because I think that people don't quite realize that they just went through a social genocide.

and then be like screw it and walk completely away from that culture.

abuse migration being like uprooted from one culture and popped in another is one of

the most stressful things you could possibly do and that's basically what we did do

ourselves is we took ourselves from a culture that we were comfortable in that we

understood the rules even that tacit rules we knew where our place was we knew

what our future was and we purposefully plopped ourselves into this new land where we know nothing and nothing makes sense anymore and that's an enormously painful and and harmful to your health thing

that we just went through and I don't quite think people realize the magnitude of that and how

really it is in human culture. How rare it is human culture.

All because of logic, right? We did that to ourselves because we're like,

wait, A plus, you know, two plus two does not equal five so you

guys must be wrong well the reality is in any other time period or culture it wouldn't matter

if two plus two isn't 5.

You need to survive.

This is your group.

Use your culture, figure out how to survive within it.

And it doesn't really matter.
