Are email signatures important?

I love this question because this is something going on in my organization right now.

We're in a big redo of all of our email signature. So first of all,

what is an email signature? An email signature is basically that thing, when you open up an email,

you get it from, it's a one-to-one email. When I email you, you email you email after we say,

hey, how you do, and whatever? There's a signature on the email. And it's generally, you know, a block of text that may include some images and links.

And it is, you know, your phone number.

It is your email address.

It's a link to your LinkedIn account, maybe your Instagram account.

It's your email signature that's included in every message that you send out.
