Damien, you are looking surprisingly chirpy considering what we've been through this week.

I'm laughing because it's been quite a mad week in terms of content.

We had the budget.

That was, of course, the big event that we had this week.

And it did really live up to the hype. We're going to cover it in detail on the podcast this

week, including the things that aren't really gaining many headlines because there was a lot

that was leaked before the budget. And there were some things that were announced and some

that weren't. But there were one or two things that are kind of buried in the detail of the document itself which we want to

also bring to light but as you say Andy it's a bit of a mad couple of hours really after the budget

is launched and we pushed out our weekly newsletter on a Wednesday so the team were working really hard and it was quite a lot

to get through because in the past budgets really passed people by. There weren't many changes

that were made, probably tweaks to tax thresholds. But now it seems to be such a big event.

I think particularly since 2022 where we had that

infamous Liz Trust mini budget which calls mortgage rates to spike and guilt markets to wobble,

that it's now in this mainstream consciousness about the impact that the budget can have on people's

finances immediately. So it has been a busy week. We've got a lot

to get through today, but this is why we do this, isn't it, Andy? I mean, this is what we kind of live for,

to be honest, trying to make sense of everything that's going on and telling people how it impacts

their finances. It was a really, weirdly, really enjoyable couple of days because in preparation for the

budget, obviously like you say, Damien, there were quite a few leaks. So we were able to sort of
