Again, using the analogy of the Clay Buddha,

the clay is the conditioning, the idea or the belief that has me blinded from experiencing contentment.

Because here I am comparing how I am to how I think I should be, and the whole idea of how I should be could just be a conceptual

truth that I've inherited from words and from society and there's really nothing else to it other

than well I believe that I should be this way, so until I'm this way, I'm not happy.

Here I am sitting miserably because I'm not mindful enough or I'm not kind enough or I'm not,

whatever it is that there's no truth to it.

Does that make sense?

Yeah, yeah.

Yeah.

And you talk about suffering and unhappiness and trauma a lot and this is something that

maybe you can help me understand better because I I hear people when they talk about Buddhism,
