Hi girls, we're back for our last episode of 2018, and what an amazing year it's been for

girls' talk. So this month we've been talking about grief and the response this month has

been amazing. I've been so astounded by the authenticity of the girl's writing

and how raw and honest it's been.

Thank you so much to everyone who submitted such powerful pieces of writing.

And, you know, it's been so upsetting to read these, but actually it's, I feel immensely

proud of everyone who's written in because I know that it must have been difficult to put down

on paper. So thank you. For our last episode of the year, I've invited someone really exciting onto the

Girls Talk Sofa. I'm a massive football fan. Well, I, you know what? I am a football fan from

blood because of my dad and my sister, but I'm becoming more and more of a football fan. And I love that

women's football is finally getting the recognition

it deserves, which is why I wanted to invite a woman with an insanely inspirational story

onto the show. Her name is Nadia Nadim, striker for Manchester City and the Danish national team.
