We got exactly 74 days till election day or approximately as somebody on Twitter observed the length of the marriage of Kim Kardashian and Chris Humphries,

a famous unit of time that all 2000s kids will understand.

who are at 530 now and we want to get to a thousand by the election day or as Saga just put it by the length of the

Kardashian Humphries wedding. So we want to get to a thousand and when we get to that number we will give it a

Great question, Isaiah. So look first off if you are new to the show you got to check out Michael Lind.

He's come on the show. He's the first episode of season two with author JD Vance.

He's actually got a book called The New Class War Saving Democracy from the managerial elite, which is just incredible.

It's got a great introduction. It's a very readable text that I would say about what an actual realignment politics would look like in practice.

How there is no winning the culture war. There are only a series of compromises in different ways that we need to

accommodate one another in American society. And if more people on the right and more people on the left thought that way,

we would all be better off. I'd also recommend Ross Douthit, also a guest on the podcast,

column at The New York Times, along with his book, Grand New Party, that he co-wrote with friend of the show,
