Last week we kicked off our “Who Said That?” recap, and this week we’re back with Part 2 — more wild clips, iconic one-liners, and a few moments that reminded us why CockTales is funny and deep when it wants to be.
This episode is a continuation of last week’s trip down memory lane, pulling standout moments from different years of the show. Some clips had us crying laughing, some had us side-eyeing ourselves, and others took a surprisingly thoughtful turn — because if we’re gonna reflect, we might as well do it honestly.
We talk fashion eras (yes, the Martha Stewart linen phase still stands), dating boundaries, bad decisions we didn’t make, and the difference between being open-minded and being open to everything (spoiler: not the same).
We also get into why “sex is a skill,” why everybody with a microphone is not a licensed expert, and why sometimes the real growth is knowing when to stop, sit still, and get yourself together. As always, there’s plenty of foolishness, a little ministry, and a lot of “did she really say that?” energy. If you haven’t listened to Part 1, go run that back first — then come join us here. 🍹
Cocktail of the Episode French 75… But Make It Therapy
You’ll need:
- Sparkling wine
- Vanilla vodka
- Simple syrup
- Bailey’s (or RumChata) foam
- Lemon twist
Shake Bailey’s with a small splash of simple syrup until frothy. Pour vanilla vodka into a flute, top with sparkling wine, gently spoon the foam on top, and garnish with a lemon twist. Do not rush the foam unless you want chaos in a glass. 🗣 Topics We Get Into:
- Recapping iconic CockTales quotes and moments from past years
- The Martha Stewart / Ina Garten aesthetic debate (still unresolved)
- Dating boundaries, self-control, and learning when to say no
- Why being open-minded doesn’t mean being open to everything
- The difference between licensed professionals and internet “experts”
- Taking breaks from dating without guilt
- Why sex, intimacy, and communication are skills you can actually learn
- Free and low-cost resources people sleep on (libraries, schools, clinics, and more)
- Growth, reflection, and recognizing patterns in yourself

| 1:08.0 | You have to spoon it because if you drop it in there, it makes it all fizz. And so I was picking a mess. That's why I kept having to get more and more paper towels. But if you gently spoon it on there. And we use rumchata today. But you can try it with Bayleys. I think Bayleys has more cream. I don't know if it's going to froth with a non-dairy, but try it. And if it doesn't, it'll still sit, but spoon it. Follow the instructions. Don't be trying to remix a recipe like I did. Yeah. Anyway. Interesting mix, but it was tasty. Now we're going to get back into all of our clips and stuff. I hope y'all enjoyed last week's episode. If you haven't watched it, make sure you go back and watch that first because we're going to pick back up with more clips of some of our favorite moments. Some are from 2025, and some are from who knows when. They're just some favorites. Because the last highlight episode that we did for New Year's Eve. It was a few years ago. It was like two years ago, I want to say. So last year we were just kind of reflecting on the moments without the clips. But this year, we planned a little better and we could have clips. So let's run the first one. So I met with a stylist. She was like, what do you want like your style to be? Give me people that you look at and you like how they dress. And I was like, you're going to make fun of me. Do you know what I'm going to say? I said Martha Stewart. God damn, Medina. You are in your 30s. That lady is 152 years. Oh, Martha Stewart. I like how Martha dresses. When she's being a hot girl in the pool, posting thirst traps, or when she has on a button-up and khakis. When she has on a button-up in khakis. And I don't know. She'll have on these loose, like, vineyard items that I want to look like I smell like linen. Who's next on the list? I'm in a garden from Barefoot Contestment. I still feel that way. I love me a little Martha, a little loose linen big shirt. Then all the people were like, she's talking about the old money aesthetic. I said no, because if you watch the episode, I asked you that. And you were like, no, Martha Stewart. I literally meant what I said. And I'm like, well, I can respect it. Sometimes I like it. Sometimes I like it. I mean, the reaction I had to you is the reaction my sister had when she was like, wear your hoochie clothes. I was like I wanted to wear caftans at the beach. Yeah, I want to be loose and kind of feet. And I do like linen. Just a few tight, tight-ish pieces. But they still flowy. Yeah, I want to be loose and comfy. And I do like linen, just a few tight, tight-ish |
