And it's almost, it's not officially summer,

but I'm hitting 80 degrees pretty regularly here. So I think that qualifies as summer, doesn't it?

That's nice. Yeah, I mean, my kids are out of school here in just a couple of days. And that feels

like summer. It is, as we are recording chili in Minnie today, but, you know,

that's okay. But the garden is planted. We've started summer golf and baseball. And, you know,

it doesn't get dark until nine o'clock. And so the days feel really long. The weekends feel

like they're lasting a week.

And there is something really lovely about summer.

Something that I used to do with the kids.

And partly it was because of the way that when my kids were little, little, my work schedule, I was freelance, a freelance TV producer for a lot of years when they were little.

And so I say producer. I was like, an assistant TV producer for a lot of years when they were little. And so I say producer.

I was like, an assistant to an assistant.

It's easier to say television producer, but let's be real.

But I was freelance.

And so I would take summers off almost always when the kids were little.

And so I felt really fortunate to be able to do that because it, it made summer,
