How do you reclaim your heart? Well, we've been talking about that inside the book club. And,

you know, it had me just thinking this morning. What an amazing amount of progress we've done in such

a short amount of time when we're focusing on the right information and we have the right

support with one another. So in today's podcast, I wanted to highlight some amazing things that have just either shocked,

made us cry, had us like going, subhannalah, why did I not see this sooner?

Let's go. When Sarah met Ahmed, she immediately knew. He was everything she had dreamed of.

Meeting him was like watching the sunrise in the middle of a snowstorm.

His warmth melted the cold.

Soon, however, admiration turned to worship.

Before she could understand what had happened, Sarah had become a prisoner.

She had become a prisoner of her own

desire and craving for what she adored. Everywhere she looked, Sarah saw nothing but him. Her greatest

fear in life was displeasing him. He was all she could feel, and without him, happiness had no meaning.

Leaving him made her feel as though her soul was being peeled from her very

being. Her heart was consumed with his face and nothing felt closer to her than him. He became to her

like the blood in her veins. The pain of existing without him was unbearable because there was no

happiness outside of being with him.

Sarah thought she was in love.

Well, that was the opening of one of the pages we were reading inside of the book club.

And I thought it was a really powerful place to begin.
