Hi, Tish, I'm so happy to be here.

Tell us a little who you are and what you do.

I am a mom and stylist living in the Midwest and I write about my life at designfor mankind.com.

And I am a writer and mom living in central Texas and you can find me online at the art of simple.net.

This is a home episode. So Aaron and I are going to talk about routines, specifically morning and evening routines in our homes, because

these two times a day make or break the rest of the day, but we'll also talk about the middle

of the day too. And we are also, right, Tish, going to talk about some simple things that we have shifted

in our lives to make room more joy. Before we begin, big thanks to this episode sponsor. Since this is

our first episode in this format, Erin, I want to first talk a little bit about our relationships with

home, both the general idea and yours and my specific homes. Now, would you call yourself a

homebody? Yes, yes, yes, yes. I loved that part and hated that part about having kids. That was the

challenge for me was I'm used to being home, having my schedule, having my routines and my rituals.

And I love that kids force you to put on a bra and get out of the house. You know what I mean? Totally. They do. It's amazing. What about you? Are you home money? I call myself a vagabond home body. And so what I mean by that is I love travel and I love home. And I actually don't think those two are mutually exclusive. I love being home and I love getting out my front door. And I actually think

they play well together. But when I'm home, I love being home and I honestly do my best to not leave it

if I can. You know, I don't like a lot of the practicals of leaving the house. I hate traffic. I hate,

you know, putting on makeup sometimes. Like you said, though, it really does do me a world a good when I get out

the door and interact with the real world. And so I love both. But when I'm home, I truly, truly love it.

I am that way as well. I never thought of that concept of Vagabond Home Party. That is genius.
