| 0:00.0 | Hello and welcome to this episode of the ESG Fitness Podcast. I hope you're having |
| 0:05.9 | lovely days. It is so beautiful outside. It's just making me unbelievably happy. |
| 0:15.0 | So I hope that everyone else is experiencing this as well. Today's episode is all about regret, which might seem quite naggy and not with the |
| 0:24.9 | happy vibes of today, but I want to talk about how regret can be a really brilliant teacher. |
| 0:32.9 | So not only can you learn from regret so that you don't make those same mistakes that you're |
| 0:38.3 | regretting again, but it also shows you what's most important to you. |

| 1:30.2 | for the poor choices that you've made. But what I am suggesting is that you approach them with |
| 1:36.5 | self-compassion. Like you made a poor choice, that's okay. You're a human. We all do it. But you can |
| 1:43.0 | learn from this. And you owe it to yourself and usually |
| 1:46.6 | to somebody else to learn from that. So it's a really good book called The Power of Regret. And |
| 1:54.5 | in that book, it's noted that some of the biggest regrets that people face or that people |
| 1:59.8 | note are cheating on a partner |
| 2:01.9 | or not reaching out to people. And both of these situations result in hurting someone else. |
