And I'm Bryce.

And today we are going to be covering the Articles of Faith and Official Declaration

1 and 2.

And before we start, just know that we're probably not going to be spending a lot of time on the

Articles of Faith. The bulk of this podcast will be discussing official declaration number two,

the extending of the priesthood to Allworthy Males in 1978. And we're just going to mention a few

things about official declaration one, which is the official manifesto ending plural marriage. But considering all that

we did in our podcast for section 132, we presented the history of plural marriage both its beginnings

and its endings. So just a couple minor things that we may want to point out now, and then we're

going to jump into official declaration too.

The one article of faith I just want to mention, I mean, the articles of faith are wonderful.

We should read them.

And depending on your audience and who you're working with and who you're teaching, you certainly could have a marvelous discussion about the articles of faith in a classroom setting or in your family.

But the one that I

want to read that I think pertains to these two official declarations is number nine. Article of
