Hey everybody welcome back to the ones ready podcast. We got a real

special episode for you today but I'm a little upset usually I can hop on a

podcast and know that I'm going to be like at least top 50% hair-wise

on the podcast and today I'm not even sure I make the top three.

But today we have Mark Funky Bunckley and Master Sergeant Gerald Romo here with us

to talk about all things recruiting life all that other stuff.

So if you all haven't listened to their episodes before, they've both been on the podcast

before and there's something that both have in common and I want to ask a few questions.

You all both go above and beyond.

Neither one of you are like through the bare minimum types of guys.

And I'll start with you Gerald, a Romo, sorry, Massaurant,

Massaurant, Romo.

What is it about you that doesn't accept the bare minimum?

I will credit that to my father, right?

Just an example growing up of a construction working dad who is up at four and home at six

every day and just he grinded his whole life so being able to see him grinded

always made me want to grind a little bit so understanding that he can do it even as he got older still doing it and then and then just coming up with a sports background right it's

you have to go above and beyond if you ever want to be good in that world.

So to me, you get paid to do your job, but you get promoted to be great.

So a lot of the times individuals expect because they do their job they're going to get promoted they're going to

get all these extra things that come with it. But in reality you're already getting your paycheck.
