And today we are going to be in sections 106, 107, and 108.

Probably the most of our time is going to be spent in section 107.

But we're going to be really careful because 107 is kind of the handbook for priesthood quorum.

And we recognize that half the people listening to this podcast really aren't concerned

about priesthood corums and how priesthood corums operate.

And so we're going to focus on those things that apply to all of us.

Those of you who are presidents of a quorum and you want to learn your duty, or those of you who

are interested in how the quorums relate to each other, study 107, some wonderful stuff in there.

But Mike and I are going to focus our attention on kind of the bigger picture, more universal

in Section 107. But let's jump into 106. I had a conversation this week with someone I deeply

respect who confessed that as a child, he did not read the scriptures very often and even doesn't

today because the scriptures make him feel guilty.

And I think that's a common occurrence that we believe that the scriptures are saying that

God expects us to be perfect. And the more we study this perfection expectation, the more

we feel like we don't measure up. Which is why I think it's so valuable to focus on
