In the myth of Lucifer, God asked the highest angel, the most powerful being in God's own creation,

to create a matrix for God's own self-reflection.

If we don't have self-reflection, we cannot know ourselves.

So the myth says, and as it is depicted in tarot, that Lucifer uses the elements of earth, water,

and fire, and air to create the matrix within which we have free will. Choice. Metaphorically

speaking, God doesn't want us to love God like a blow-up doll or a robot. God wants to give us the

choice to love God, which is to love

ourself.
