L'Hoslum Montgomery here with another China History Podcast episode, and a special one

at that.

Rather than your humble narrator prattling on about this topic, requested so many times

over the years, I've invited on to this long-running family program, one of my friends from

the area, to help us introduce the topic of the history of high-non-provence, and

I'm most delighted to welcome onto the CHP Dr. Jeremy Murray, associate professor at

Cal State University, San Bernardino, Dr. Murray teaches modern Chinese history at this

esteemed institution of higher learning, founded in 1965.

He is the author of China's Lonely Revolution, the local communist movement of high-non-Island,

1926 to 1956, that came out on Sunni Press, among other books and articles.

I've invited Jeremy on to discuss the subject he's duly qualified to speak about, the

history of China's smallest and newest province.

Well, not that new, it's been 33 years.
