I had a friend in a woke church and this friend had adopted multiple children with different skin

color than him and had done so out of love for Christ and then was told from the pulpit that

his whiteness made him basically a beneficiary of white supremacy. This is from the pastor?

Yeah, this is from a pastor. Wow. And he struggled to know how to deal with that and his children

who are of different skin color than him, asked him on the way home if they were fundamentally

at odds with one another, if he didn't like them by nature. And there had been a lot of different

things I'd read about critical race theory and intersectionality and wokeness. But when that

came into my mind, I just thought, this system is diabolical, man. There are hard things to

track in American history. There are real historical failings. There's slavery. There's Jim Crow.

So we can have a we can have a vibrant discussion about racism and past failings in this country

and whatever country you want to talk about. We recognize that Christians have sometimes been

on the wrong side of these issues. Yeah. So it's not a white wash of any one group in my mind

that we're trying to pull off. But fundamentally, if gospel loving Christians who are adopting people

in desperate circumstances out of love are being told they're a white supremacist,

Houston, we have a problem. We have a professor in the house, a doctor, Owen Strand,
