After being introduced to alcohol by a babysitter before she was even a teenager, Meagan drank for more than 20 years. In college, she took pride in her ability to go out and drink all night while continuing to earn straight As, maintain scholarships, star in a play, and serve as a spokesperson for the Rain Forest Association. Meagan’s career took her from London to Paris and kept alcohol so big she once drank to prove to a boss that she wasn’t pregnant. Her mother introduced her to This Naked Mind, and Meagan finally got curious enough to make alcohol small.

0:33.0	welcome Megan. Hi, thanks for having me. Welcome from your, we're talking. I'm in Colorado,
0:39.0	you're in Paris. That's super cool. This is very cool. I love your architecture too in your,
0:44.0	in your house. Looks very, very exotic.
0:49.0	I'm going to be like night, night and day, but that's the great thing about technology these days.
0:55.0	So what do you kind of take us back to the beginning in your journey? Like,
1:01.0	why don't you take me back to sort of where it all started for you? What was your first drink,
1:06.0	held, were you stuff like that? Yeah, sure. So I, I'm from Baltimore, Maryland,
1:12.0	originally, my current, I live in Paris, France and, and I've, I've lived kind of all over,
1:18.0	I lived in London, I lived in Chicago and LA and New York. But I've learned,
1:25.0	when I went to college in California, that my childhood in Baltimore was quite,
1:32.0	that we grew up quite fast, basically. And, and so I started drinking, I guess,
1:37.0	I was 12 years old. And my first time getting drunk with actually with my babysitter,
1:46.0	and we went to a party with her. And I remember I lost my voice as well,
1:52.0	because I was, I was smoking cigarettes and it was, yeah, I thought it was just the,
1:57.0	the cool thing to do. And, you know, my, my parents drank at home and it just,
2:03.0	kind of what, what we did. And, I went to an arts high school and so we, we drank quite a lot there.
2:09.0	And, and then in college, you know, continued it. I'd, I would often brag that I could go out all night and drink and,
2:18.0	and then I would be starring in a play, getting straight A's in college. You know, I was the,
2:24.0	I was a national Hispanic scholar, I was a Dean scholar, I was the brain forest,
