Cal. A black bear is believed to have pulled a crash victim from his car after he smashed through a guardrail in Massachusetts last week.

That headline might sound like a feel-good story, but the truth is more nature is metal than Walt Disney.

Officials say a 31 year old Daniel Ducharm

was killed in the crash after being either fully or partially ejected from his 2016 Honda Civic,

police arrived at the scene sometime later and found the victim's body outside his car

and noticed a bear in the woods nearby.

The Bruin was likely motivated by more than just curiosity.

Officials haven't offered many details,

but they say there is evidence that, quote,

the bear at some point had made contact with the victim's body. That evidence, whatever

it was, was enough to motivate environmental police to euthanize the bear out of

an abundance of caution, end quote.
